ACC Arts Based Online Groups
About the groups
These groups are approved by ACC for kiritaki with an approved sensitive claim. They can only be accessed by the related Lead Provider both registering with us and gaining approval from ACC.
ACC generously approved groupwork for all kiritki with approved sensitive claims. Each kiritaki is allocated 30 group hours per 12 months, and our groups require only 13 hours each, so your kiritaki could participate in 2 each year. We recommend engaging in only 1 group at a time.
Who can participate?
All groups are:
- for people with an approved ACC claim who are over 18
- for people who have been working with and ACC provider for more than 9 months and have sufficient personal resources to manage the requirements of an online group
- for people who have the technical skills and quality of internet that allow full participation in an online group
- held online via zoom
- held within school terms to minimise the disruption of school holidays
- held within school hours (if the group is a daytime group) to minimise the disruption of school pickup/dropoff
